How So Free — Privacy Policy

Location: the app uses your device’s current location to find nearby toilets. Distances and walking times are computed entirely on your device, and we run no server that collects or stores your location. However, to draw the map, the Google Maps SDK requests map data for the coordinates on screen, and Firebase Analytics derives an approximate (city-level) region from your IP address. Those are handled under Google’s privacy policy.
Preferences: your language and your preferred map app are stored on your device only.
Accounts, names, emails, contacts: not collected. There is no sign-up.

Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google): anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (device model, OS, app version, events, app instance ID, advertising ID) are sent to Google, and an approximate city-level region is derived from your IP address. No name or contact details are included.
Google Maps (Maps SDK): to display the map, Google may process device information and map requests under Google’s privacy policy.
External map apps (Naver Map, KakaoMap, Google Maps, Apple Maps): when you tap “Take me there”, the destination name and coordinates are handed to that app. Its own policy applies.

Public open data from the Korean Ministry of the Interior and Safety (National Public Toilet Standard Data), published on the Public Data Portal: https://www.data.go.kr/data/15012892/standard.do. Details may differ from reality; “open now” is an estimate parsed from opening-hours text.
How So Free is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing the Korean government or any government agency.

Location (precise/approximate): optional. The app works without it; only distances and walking times are hidden. You can change it any time in device settings.

위치 정보: 가까운 화장실을 찾기 위해 기기의 현재 위치를 사용합니다. 거리·도보 시간 계산은 전부 기기 안에서 이루어지며, 우리는 위치를 수집하거나 저장하는 서버를 두고 있지 않습니다. 다만 지도를 그리는 과정에서 Google 지도 SDK가 화면 중심 좌표를 Google 서버에 요청하고, Firebase Analytics가 IP 주소로 대략적인 지역(도시 수준)을 추정합니다. 이 처리는 Google의 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.
설정값: 언어 선택, 길찾기 앱 선택은 기기 안에만 저장됩니다.
계정·이름·이메일·연락처: 수집하지 않습니다. 회원가입이 없습니다.

Firebase Analytics·Crashlytics(Google): 화면 사용 통계와 앱 오류 보고를 위해 익명 사용 데이터(기기 모델·OS·앱 버전·이벤트·앱 인스턴스 ID·광고 ID)가 Google로 전송됩니다. IP 주소에서 도시 수준의 대략적인 지역이 추정됩니다. 이름·연락처는 포함하지 않습니다.
Google 지도(Maps SDK): 지도 표시를 위해 Google이 기기 정보와 지도 요청을 처리할 수 있습니다. Google 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다.
외부 지도 앱(네이버지도·카카오맵·구글맵·Apple 지도): "데려다줘"를 누르면 목적지 이름과 좌표가 해당 앱으로 전달됩니다. 각 앱의 방침이 적용됩니다.

행정안전부 전국공중화장실표준데이터(공공데이터포털: https://www.data.go.kr/data/15012892/standard.do)를 가공해 제공합니다. 정보가 실제와 다를 수 있으며, 개방 여부는 개방시간 텍스트로 추정한 값입니다.
How So Free는 정부·공공기관과 무관한 독립 앱이며, 정부를 대표하지 않습니다.

위치(정확한/대략적): 선택 사항입니다. 거부해도 앱은 동작하며, 거리·도보 시간만 표시되지 않습니다. 기기 설정에서 언제든 변경할 수 있습니다.
